The best way to understand dosing is to first understand that everyone’s level of tolerance to cannabis is quite different. Some patients have been using cannabis for many years and have built up certain tolerances that will allow them to consume higher levels of cannabis (THC) than others.
New medical marijuana patients using cannabis for the first time will need to start slow and build up before they can comfortably dose cannabis products. Remember, cannabis flower, edible or ingestible, will not react the same; and each product will have a slightly different effect depending on the terpene and cannabinoid profile, method of consumption and level of THC (the psycho active element that produces the “stoned” feeling).
